SaalePUTZ

The cleaning campaign on and in the Saale has already become a tradition in Jena. Every spring, volunteers are invited to clear the banks of the Saale from Maua to Kunitz of garbage and scrap metal. Originally launched by SaaleVision e. V., this community campaign has been organized by the community foundation and supported by the city and numerous associations since 2015.

SaalePUTZ 2026

The SaalePUTZ on 21.03.2026 was a complete success! With over 500 volunteers, a new record number of participants was set. We would like to thank the organizers and all the volunteers for this great community event.
