Jena sustainability strategy

As part of the "Global Sustainable Municipality Thuringia" project, the steering group met for the 8th and, for the time being, last time on 22.09.2020. Since 2017, guidelines, goals and measures that will contribute to Jena's sustainable development have been developed in an intensive participatory process.

At yesterday's meeting, the steering group, which is made up of representatives from the fields of business and science, civil society organizations and the city administration, adopted the completed programme of action for the sustainability strategy. This program of action, which comprises 6 subject areas with a total of 174 specific measures, will be presented to the city council and its committees for approval in the form of a draft resolution in the next stage.
