Children and Youth Environmental Award 2021 - deadline extended

The city of Jena and Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck GmbH have been awarding the Children & Youth Environmental Prize since 2018. This year, the focus is on conserving resources and avoiding waste.

Under the motto "Less is more - how to avoid waste", the aim is to motivate children and young people in Jena to take a closer look at the topic.

The prize is worth a total of 2,500 euros and can be split between several winners.

As special conditions apply this school year, the application deadline has been extended until 30.06.2021.

The award ceremony usually takes place on Environment Day as part of the "Your Day in Paradise" event. Due to the cancellation of the event, the prize will now be awarded to the winner of the main prize shortly before the summer vacations.
